Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Matthew 11:28-29 KJV
"Cornerstone House of God is a God-fearing, body of believers who accept all scripture as valid. We do not esteem the Old Testament over the New Testament, nor the New Testament over the Old Testament. We believe that you must live by the whole book and that they do not contradict one another. We observe of the Sabbath on the seventh day (Saturday), whereas it was the custom of Jesus Christ (which is the life of us all) to go each Sabbath into the synagogue (Luke 4:16) for to read out of the law and the prophets and preach unto them.
We resolve to observe the Sabbath as a day of rest and worship. We believe in the observance of all of God’s Feast Days rather than the religious days of holidays instituted by men (Leviticus 23, Acts 2). Scripture establishes keeping all the commandments of God as a prerequisite to entering the Kingdom of God (Revelation 22:14)."
Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
Revelation 22:14 KJV

Matthew 5: 17-18
[17] Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
[18] For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
John 3: 16-17
[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
[17] For God sent not his Son into the world to condem the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
Our Pastor, Evangelist Sandra Cobb, the eldest of three children, raised in Texas and attended schools in both the Dallas and Wilmer-Hutchins school districts. As a young girl she was biblically taught in the House of God, under the leadership of Pastor V. R. Johnson. She graduated from Wilmer-Hutchins High school in 1975 and lived in Anaheim Germany for fourteen months before returning to the states. In 1985 she wedded David Cobb. Evangelist Cobb is the mother of 3 children and worked for Union Bankers Insurance Company for 16 years and later retired from AT&T after 25 years of service.
In 1988 Sister Cobb was united with the House of God Dallas, Texas under the leadership of late Bishop William Morrison where she was baptized and received the gift of the Holy Ghost during a church revival. Sister Cobb served as an usher and in various other positions under Bishop Morrison’s leadership. Sister Cobb served God while being enlighten through his word and the example of her pastor.
In 1999 Sister Cobb and her family joined with Elder Warren and Cornerstone House of God where she continued to work in the church serving as a youth Sabbath School teacher, a trustee board member, assisting with praise and worship and in many other capacities. Evangelist Cobb was later appointed Assistant Pastor of Cornerstone House of God by Elder Warren. Evangelist Cobb has been licensed and honored as and Elect Lady (2003), Minister (2006) and Evangelist (2014), through the House of God. In addition to the positions held in her local congregation, Evangelist Cobb also served as State Treasurer Texas from 2005 until February 2022. In 2006 Evangelist Cobb was appointed Western District Treasurer and served in that capacity until May 2022.
In November 2018 Cornerstone suffered the loss of our beloved pastor Bishop Ronald Warren, Sr. and during this difficult time, with the help and support of the Cornerstone congregation, Evangelist Cobb transitioned in her role to our assembly. In July 2019 at the Annual Convocation in Lexington Kentucky Evangelist Cobb was appointed Pastor of Cornerstone House of God.
Evangelist Cobb continues to fight the good fight of faith, following the example of her late pastor Bishop Ronald L. Warren, Sr., with Jesus Christ himself being the Chief Cornerstone.
In the year of 1999 the Lord spoke to the Elder Ronald L Warren Sr and lead him to go out into the highways and hedges to compel men & women to come in, that the Lord’s house might be filled. In August of that same year Cornerstone House of God was formed.
Elder & Elect Lady Warren opened their living area at 1209 Creek Drive as the 1st meeting place of Cornerstone House of God. In addition to weekly prayer and Sabbath (Friday evening & Saturday afternoon) services the Warren’s opened their home for Sabbath day meals. After 5 months at this location, in January of 2000, the Lord blessed Cornerstone to move into their new location located at 1516 Osprey Suite 200 in Desoto, Texas. This became and remained Cornerstone’s church home for almost 12 years.
In December of 2011, Vicar Bishop Warren launched a ten-day financial campaign which resulted in the purchase of property located at 114 N. State St. in Lancaster, Texas. The last, yet exhilarating service held at the Osprey location was December 17, 2011, and the Saints immediately went to task. Working long days and late nights renovations at our new location were able to be completed by February 2012 and in April of the same year we were able to observe the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread in our new building.
The Church has grown in numbers and spiritual strength attributed to faithful & self-sacrificing members. Although we have experienced difficulties, our faith has allowed us to overcome and triumph over them. Bishop Warren’s love for our church, its necessities and history inspired the vision of what is before us today. The saints continue to live and be strengthened though the Word of God as we remain in service and fellowship.
We endeavor to “Drive, Go Forward and Slack Not!”
